South Bend Municipal Golf Course Rules

  1. All players must have clubs and bag, and play only one ball.

  2. This is a soft spike facility.

  3. All players must have tickets from pro shop and must show ticket when requested.

  4. No starting off #10 tee without permission from pro shop or starter.

  5. Shirt and proper attire must be worn at all times.

  6. Keep electric carts in rough (90° crossover allowed).

  7. Please complete your round in four hours or less.

  8. Consider allowing faster players to play through (common courtesy).

  9. Please repair all divots, ball marks, and rake traps.

  10. All Golfers must pay non-resident rate unless proof of residency is shown.

  11. Rain Checks issued only when course is closed and less than nine holes completed.

  12. Lack of etiquette such as hitting into other golfer and risking injury, will not be tolerated.

  13. Children under eight years of age are not allowed on course. (With the exception of Studebaker Golf Course)

  14. No unauthorized five-somes and no coolers permitted.

  15. All maintenance personnel and equipment have right of way on course.

  16. Golf personnel will enforce these rules. Golfers failing to follow rules will be denied use of golf course.
