Martial arts clain
Kobayashi Shorin ryu Karatedo are directed by a
master-ranked instructor. All classes are conducted in a
formal, proper manner providing quality training in a
major martial art style at a realistic and more
affordable price than commercially offered classes.
Classes are co-ed and open to children ages 6 and older.
Uniforms, weaponry and supplies may be purchased form
the instructor at reasonable prices. A New Student
Introductory Packet is provided free to new students
which provides general information on membership
requirements, rank testing requirements and fees,
etiquette, terminology, and much more. These classes
concentrate on technique and form as well as proper
etiquette and karate knowledge, moves and techniques.
Students can test for rank promotions. Students may
attend twice per week by registering for two different

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Martial Arts Weapons Class
Learn to use the Bo (6ft. wooden staff). Learn
striking, clocking and weapons form. Participants
without their own weapons may rent or purchase one from
instructor. Class directed by Martial Art Weapon Master
Ranked Instructor. Must be enrolled in Martial Arts
class to participate in the weapons class. Min 4/Max 10.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Martial
Arts – Active Older Adults
Too old for the kids class?
Too young for the seniors program? Want to
continue being active and mentally sharp?
Many Okinawa karate masters are healthy and
active into their 80’s.
The movements in our karate enhance range of
motion, balance, coordination, awareness and more.
Our Active Older Adults classes are structured
for those of us in our middle age and older suing the
movements and patterns of our system that can help
improve and maintain our health and lifestyle for the
decades to come.
Do something besides just growing old.
Classes are structured for those ages 45 and up.
