Skate passes available as a 10 punch card for $20 or a 30 punch card for $50. Please purchase at the O'Brien Recreation Center offices, 321 E. Walter Street South Bend:  Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The O’Brien Skate Park at O’Brien Park,
321 E. Walter Street, is one of the best facilities in the region to board or roller blade. The concrete, permanent obstacle, 13,000 square foot park includes challenges such as quarter-pipes, half-pipes, bowls, steps, ramps and rails. There is an area with less challenging obstacles for the beginners. A concession area and rental equipment are also available.

$5 for pizza and to get it – mini competition

Skate Camp
 June 9-13, July 7-11, August 11-15
Days: Monday – Friday
Times: 9am – noon
Ages: 6-12
Cost: $75 per week
Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced
(will be tested and put in appropriate group)
Includes a healthy morning snack each day and a
t-shirt

Skate lessons: May 24th -July 28th:
Saturdays 9am-10am: $20
Wednesday evenings 7pm-8pm: $20

Summer Grind: July 26
The last of the mini competition series before the August Competition.  No judges, judged by peers, same form as competition. Must sign up in advance; those who sign up on day of go last in order of first come, first serve.

Competition: Saturday, August 16
$20 pre-registration; $25 day of

Skate Parties
Reserve the skate park for your next birthday party, friends’ outing, field trip, youth group, etc.
Cost: $150 up to 10 people
($10/per additional person)
 

Package includes:
2 hours of skating for up to 10 skaters
(must bring own skates or boards)
Pizza - Pop
(If a birthday – t-shirt for the birthday person)
