Tree Lighting Ceremony

 College Football Hall of Fame's Gridiron
5:30-6:45pm
Area children from the IU South Bend Community Connection Dancers & Choir and Starz Academy will perform music and dance. The Holiday Greeting Card artists will be recognized. Free cookies & hot chocolate will be served. This all leads up to the big event: Santa's arrival and the lighting of the giant Christmas Tree. Special thanks to Hill's True Value Hardware for the greeting card paint and supplies. Tea With Santa
Saturday December 5th, 2009
12:00 Noon & 1:15 pm
 Cost: $5.00 per person 
Pre-registration required: at O’Brien Recreation Center, 321 Walter St., beginning Nov. 1 until full.  Enjoy a light lunch with Santa in the beautiful setting of Erskine Park Clubhouse. Two seating are available, 12 Noon and 1:15 pm.
Remember to bring your camera to get a photo of your child with Santa.
This event is co-sponsored by the Chicory Cafe, Fiddler's Hearth and Gordon's Food Service.  Erskine Clubhouse is located at 4200 Miami St.

Breakfast With Santa
Saturday December 5th, 2009
8:00-9:30 am
A plated breakfast will be served, then visit with Santa and enjoy face painting, balloon art and holiday entertainment by Jetta and the Jellybeans. Remember to bring your camera to get a photo of your child with Santa!

Holiday Skating Party
Sunday December 6th, 2009
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Ice Skating with Santa.
 Join family and friends at the Howard Park Ice Skating Rink on Jefferson Blvd. at St. Louis Blvd. Enjoy a fun-filled time of skating. Santa will be there and we'll have some refreshments too.  Skate rental is available. Bring your camera for pictures with Santa.
Fee: Two pet food items (to be donated to South Bend Animal Control) or $2.00 per person.
Pre-registration not required.
