The Belleville Softball
Complex Office is now
OPEN FOR THE SEASON. Office
hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m.
- until the lights go out EDT.
RAIN OUT PROCEDURES
Whenever rain is in the forecast, this is
the place to look for information. As soon
as we are certain that games are rained out
it will be listed on this page. DO NOT CALL
THE COMPLEX! Calling the Complex only slows
the process. Unless it has been raining hard
for many hours, no decision will be made
until 5:30 pm on the day of the game -
except on Sundays the decision will not be
made before 4:00 pm. Please understand we
are talking about the Belleville Softball
Complex only - at all other city parks the
umpire makes the call at or about game time,
which is normally 6:15 - 6:30 pm, except
Sunday then 4:45 - 5:00 pm. When the umpire
at a city park notifies us that their games
are rained out we will update this page.
Please be patient and understanding - as we
all want to play every game as scheduled, if
possible. Also, remember that games stopped
in progress will (if meaningful in the
standings) be finished from the point
stopped - so keep excellent records.
